# Register as an Instructor

> Register (or Sign Up) as an Instructor

**Step 1: Register with Email**

1. Navigate to [the registration page](https://app.classavo.com/signup/).
2. Choose your role as an Instructor.
3. Enter your email address, or phone number. Ensure that you use your “yourname@yourschool.edu” address if using email.
4. Enter your password, date of birth, and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
5. After registering, a confirmation link will be sent to your email address/phone number.

**Step 2: Verify Email and Create Password**

Click on the confirmation link sent to your email. If you did not receive it, check your spam folder.

**Step 3: Create Your First Course**

1. Open [Classavo](https://app.classavo.com/courses/)
2. Enter your course information and grade settings.
3. Click the Submit button to create your new course.
